Top 12 Ways to Cleanse Your Liver at Home
The liver is one of the most important organs in our body, which is responsible for cleansing the blood and removing toxic substances from the body. It is not for nothing that the liver is called the body’s natural “filter”.
Unfortunately, this organ does not always work at full capacity. Against the background of poor ecology, poor nutrition, bad habits and chronic stress, the functioning of the liver is disrupted, which immediately affects the general condition of the body. In this case, a person suffers from headaches, becomes lethargic, apathetic, his sleep is disturbed and immunity is reduced. The result of liver slagging are frequent illnesses, stress and depression.
This is where the question of the need to cleanse the liver arises. And this really makes sense, because practice shows that regular cleansing (tubage) of the liver at home allows you to achieve amazing results. A person’s digestion improves, the skin is cleared, he feels better, he gets sick less often and looks younger!
Contraindications to liver cleansing
It is worth saying that not everyone can cleanse their liver at home. There are a number of diseases and conditions in which this procedure may be unsafe or ineffective. These include:
- chronic diseases;
- gallstones;
- infectious pathologies;
- colds;
- the presence of parasites in the body;
- allergy to preparations used during cleaning;
- the appearance of tumors;
- menstrual period;
- pregnancy;
- breastfeeding.
In addition, when choosing a liver tubage recipe, it is important to consider its features, because some components of the preparations may not have the best effect on the body. For example:
- honey and raisins should not be taken by people suffering from diabetes;
- rose hips are contraindicated in the presence of gastritis, stomach ulcers, diabetes, thrombophlebitis and heart pathologies;
- Olive oil is not suitable for liver cleansing for people suffering from hypertension and having problems with the cardiovascular system.
- Magnesium is contraindicated for a wide variety of diseases, but it is especially dangerous for people with gastrointestinal diseases.
Preparing for a Liver Cleanse
1. You need to start such a cleanse with a doctor’s consultation. If necessary, you should take blood, urine and stool tests, do an ultrasound of the liver and gallbladder. Only this approach will give you confidence that liver cleansing will not harm your health. If there are no contraindications for the procedure, you can proceed to the next stages of preparation.
2. A week before the procedure, introduce restrictions into your diet. Avoid fried, fatty and floury foods, smoked foods and sweets. Refrain from smoking and drinking alcohol. Eat vegetable salads dressed with olive oil and lemon juice, drink more water.
3. Before cleansing the liver, do an enema. This will rid the body of toxic substances and not poison it.
4. Warm up the liver, for which simply apply a warm heating pad to the area where the organ is located. This should be done throughout the day of cleansing and the next day after the procedure. Such warming will improve the outflow of bile and relieve pain that occurs when the liver contracts.
5. After cleansing the liver, also do an enema.
6. After completing the tubage, you need to stick to a diet for several days. During the first three days, you can only eat fresh, boiled or baked vegetables and fruits, washing them down with juices and weak tea. After 3 days, you can diversify your diet with boiled meat and fish, and so gradually return your usual dishes to the menu. However, you should not return to smoking and drinking alcohol for at least another month.
