How to create professional videos? The easy way
Before we begin, I’d like to tell you a couple of things. First, why do expert marketers suggest us to include video marketing to our business strategies? And, why do you need to create video squeeze pages as well, while using our leads squeezer plugin?
The reason is simple. Day by day, people (we too) are becoming more and more lazy. Visitors prefer to watch a video than reading an article to get the information. Also, with my own split tests, video squeezers convert more visitors to leads compared to the normal ones. What I’m saying is, we really need to put more attention and effort to video marketing. Here, I’m not just talking about creating videos to put in the squeezer plugin for leads. But, also about videos we publish on places like youtube etc. to sell our services or to promote other’s products as an affiliate.
So, video marketing… I’d categorise it to two types. Real testimonials (review videos) and professionally built promotional videos. Both can bring wonderful results. It depends on the niche/market you are in. For example if you are promoting an ebook, it’s better to get a video having a real person reviewing it. But in case if it is a software, I’d prefer a professionally built video showing different features of it with some nice graphics. You need to decide which one works better for your purpose.
Creating videos of the first type is pretty easy and cheap. The most recommended (by me) approach is to get a friend or someone you know in your network to create one for you. Such reviews and testimonial videos will have more effect than a review video you buy from places like fiverr and all. I’d suggest to buy testimonials, only if there is no other way to get one. Since I’m a software/products creator, I can simply show the stuff to my friends or someone in my network and ask them to review it and they would happily do it. But your case may be different – if the ‘real’ approach isn’t working, then you can buy a review video from somewhere (avoid popular buyers – that videos will be everywhere around for hundreds of products. For a customer it may look suspicious) and put it inside the squeezer to start building your leads.
Building professional videos either difficult if we do ourselves or expensive. I’ve seen marketers spending hundreds of dollars just for a 60 second video. It is because they would like to impress the viewer to sell their offer. It works too. If you remember fbmaxed and fbxtab apps, those stunning videos created by the producers sent me several hundreds of dollars. All I did was asked them to send me a copy of the video and I added some captions, put my links on it and simply uploaded to youtube & other places, done some basic promotions.
But how to create professional videos with very little investment? I found an easy way for this (not an automatic software, you still have to do some work). There are several websites where we can download professionally created video templates. These are available to buy for 5-15$ and we can spend a few minutes editing it adding our logo, and other information we need in the video. The only thing is – most of the templates I found are using ‘Adobe after effects’ which is an expensive software. You need to download a fully functional free trial from their website to edit these templates. Those who are having an apple system you can edit most of these templates using iMovie.
